Creative Royston and the team behind Royston MusicFest are absolutely delighted to announce a special one-off concert at The Old Bull Inn, Royston on Sunday 8th July at 7.30pm (Doors open 7.00pm).
Music fans in Royston will have a rare opportunity to hear musicians of international standing and acclaim perform contemporary songs arranged for classical instruments including violins, violas, cello and harps, reinforced by the ubiquitous guitar.
This eclectic concert will feature Jeremy Harmer and the Ad Hoc Strings performing the wonderful arrangements of Jeremy’s songs; Schrödinger’s Strings performing some of their own songs alongside sublime covers of everything from Pachelbel’s Canon in D to Guns N’ Roses (on a guitar and 2 harps, amazing!), and last but certainly not least, wonderful songwriting and musical wizardry from local favourites, Thursday’s Band.
For more information on the artists click on the links attached to their names; have a look at the biographical piece provided by Jeremy, and at the website for Steve Bingham, leader of the Ad Hoc Strings. You can also click on the poster on the left to enlarge.
Tickets are an absolute bargain at £10 in advance (£12 on the door) and would be good value for a concert by any one of these 3 superb acts. Click on the icon below to buy tickets – whilst you can!
