Creative Royston Community Arts Event

WHERE: Priory Memorial Gardens, Royston

Join our community arts event, celebrating music, art and craft. Try your hand at music making, create a beautiful ceramic butterfly or learn how to knit or crochet. Or simply come and enjoy the musical entertainment, bouncy castles, free face painting, refreshments, art display by Paul Human and live art demo by graffiti artist “Gnasher”. Then stick around for a good old knees up with a festival first Ceilidh Dance with Dangerous Circles.

Ceramic Changes – Glazed Creations
Painting ceramic butterflies to make wall art or a wind chime.
£1.50 per butterfly, or £5 for four

Handbell Changes – Scrambells
A series of workshops to teach you the secrets of handbell ringing!

Knitting & Crochet – No.3 Royston
[Ages 8+] Learn how to knit and crochet with shop No.3 Royston. Hooks, needles and yarn will be available to buy on the day or bring your own.

Brazilian Carnival Drumming – Garden City Samba
2pm – 3.30pm followed by performance. A series of workshops in Brazilian Carnival Drumming. Under 10s (2pm), 10-15 (2.30pm) and 16+ (3pm).  FREE but book in advance to avoid disappointment on the day. https://www.ticketsource.co.uk/creativeroyston
