Ringing the changes – Royston Bell Ringers

The Royston tower will open up to demonstrate the Ancient Art of Bell Ringing. Every 30 minutes, there will be a talk about the bells, a ringing demonstration and the opportunity to have-a-go.

Everything Changes… Graham Palmer

A writing workshop exploring place and time

Whether you’re a beginner in creative writing or a more advanced writer looking for ideas, this half-day workshop will help you shape a setting for your story, blog or poem. Using historic photos from the Museum’s storeroom, it will provide an opportunity to discover how a sense of change and place can inspire your own writing. *

* This workshop may also prove useful to those preparing for the Creative Writing element in the GCSE English exam.

“Changes” Performing Arts Workshop

GSTARS School of Dance and Performing Arts

GSTARS presents a workshop based on the “Changes” you encounter through the process of growing up. The workshop will be filled with innovative choreography, singing and drama. Ceramic Changes – Glazed Creations
Painting ceramic butterflies to make wall art or a wind chime.
£1.50 per butterfly, or £5 for four

Handbell Changes – Scrambells
A series of workshops to teach you the secrets of handbell ringing!

Knitting & Crochet – No.3 Royston
[Ages 8+] Learn how to knit and crochet with shop No.3 Royston. Hooks, needles and yarn will be available to buy on the day or bring your own.

Brazilian Carnival Drumming – Garden City Samba
