CADS present Pygmalion – the play which inspired the musical My Fair Lady. This classic (by George Bernard Shaw) follows the transformation of Eliza from common street seller into a lady who could pass as a Duchess! Join us for a wonderful evening of humour and social comment. Ends at approximately 10pm

Peter Paul Rubens – Sketching his masterpieces

A talk by Henrietta Ward – Assistant keeper Paintings, Drawings and Prints, The Fitzwilliam Museum. The Fitzwilliam Museum has an important and varied collection of works by the prolific 17th Century Flemish artist Peter Paul Rubens that include designs for enormous tapestries and intricate sculpture. In this talk Henrietta will highlight the changes Rubens made to his paintings, how he recycled and altered his panels as well as his relationship with other craftsmen.
