The Tree of Light on display in Royston Library
Royston Arts Festival 2015 drew to a jubilant close on 27th September at the Finale Concert at the Parish Church. The Creative Royston Management Committee and over 20 local arts groups and societies delivered a wealth of events and activities, many of which were inspired by the theme of ‘Illumination’. Feedback so far includes the following comments:-
The Interval Act playing at Royston MusicFest ’15
“Great to see an event that attracted a good number of under 20s”
We would like to thank everyone involved in making the festival such a success and all the visitors who took part and attended the events. If you haven’t already completed a feedback form then it’s not too late! Just use the ‘2015 Feedback’ menu option above.
We’re already looking ahead to Royston Arts Festival 2016. If you’re interested in getting involved we have a consultation evening on Thursday 22nd October at Royston Museum and Art Gallery from 7.30pm to 9.30pm. The evening will both look back at this year’s event and discuss ideas for the next. Please email Pam on community@creativeroyston.org if you would like to attend.
