First of all, we wish you a very Happy New Year from all at Creative Royston.

The 2023 Creative Royston AGM will take place at 7.30pm on Tuesday 17th January in Room 11 at Royston Town Hall.

The main purpose of the AGM is to elect the office-holder posts for the forthcoming festival (and calendar) year of 2023. At present there is one candidate for each post of Chair, Vice-Chair and Treasurer, but none for the post of Secretary. If anyone wishes to volunteer for the post of Secretary, or is thinking about doing so, please contact Carl Filby using the Chair’s email address below and he will be happy to provide more information or discuss what is involved.

Otherwise, we are very fortunate in having enough volunteers to form almost a full committee. We meet once a month February to September and you can also contact Carl for details on those positions. Becoming a committee member is a good way of meeting new people and putting something back into your community, as well as providing opportunities to enhance your CV. Your name can be placed on a waiting list for committee membership if there are no vacancies when you first apply.
